A day full of premieres and encounters
On the 22nd of August 2025, we didn’t just celebrate summer in Lieboch – we made history.
For weeks, we talked about “a special tool”, deliberately withheld details and let the excitement build. At the royos summer party, the time had finally come: in front of our guests, we unveiled the PSW series tool for the first time, which brings our Polymer Stir Welding technology to industrial production.
From idea to reality
What began as a vision a few years ago has accompanied us through research projects, countless prototypes and passionate tinkering. Always with the aim of creating a sustainable joining technology that works where adhesives and conventional processes reach their limits.
The moment when we presented the series tool was therefore much more than a technical unveiling – it was a milestone for all of us, showing that royos is ready to play an active role in shaping the future of hybrid materials.
Technology you can touch
The live demonstrations were a particular highlight. Almost unspectacularly, and precisely for this reason so impressively, the tool joined materials such as wood and plastic in a matter of seconds. What looks so easy is actually the result of years of development work and innovation. Our guests’ reactions ranged from nodding their heads in amazement to enthusiastic discussions about possible applications.
Encounters that stay with you
But the day was not just a technical highlight. The summery atmosphere, delicious food from the barbecue and many personal conversations created exactly what is important to us: a feeling of community, new beginnings and joy for the future. Whether long-standing partners, companions or new faces – we sensed how much our topic moves and connects us.
