royos impresses in the Mobility category
At this year’s SPIRIT of Styria Start-up Awards, royos joining solutions GmbH was awarded 3rd place in the Mobility category. The award honors Styrian start-ups that actively shape the future with market-ready ideas and technological foresight.
In the Mobility category, royos impressed with its PSW technology (Polymer Stir Welding) – an innovative joining process that welds plastics directly to metal or wood. The process requires no adhesives, screws, or pre-treatment, enabling highly durable, sealed joints in a single, energy-efficient step. PSW thus positions itself as a key industrial technology for resource-efficient lightweight construction and new approaches in the circular economy.
The award confirms the maturity of the royos solution and highlights its market potential for future-proof joining technologies – especially where weight, sustainability, and automation are becoming increasingly important.
