royos joining solutions GmbH was honored as the winner in the Sustainability category at the Styrian Innovation Award 2025 – a prize awarded by the Styrian Business Promotion Agency (SFG) in cooperation with the State of Styria, recognizing outstanding innovations with ecological and digital relevance. The award ceremony took place on April 1, 2025, during a formal event in Graz.
With our technology, we are setting new standards for resource-efficient joining in lightweight construction. The Polymer Stir Welding (PSW) process developed by royos joins plastics with metals or wood in a single, energy-efficient step – completely free of adhesives, screws, or pre-treatment. This not only creates a highly durable and sealed joint but also significantly reduces the CO₂ footprint in component production.
